Updates from my class on Wednesday... We did the 1930's look and this is the last lesson for make up as the rest of the lessons would be on the hair classes.. Can't wait for the hair classes to commence... But of course these hair classes are not learning how to cut/dye someone's hair but just to learn how to tie it up... =) Alright!!! Photos up next!!!
Honestly, I wasn't happy with what I did... Because I didn't conceal her natural brows properly... Well, got to do alot of practice... =) I'm not sure if you can see it... It's not obvious but the 1930's blusher is shaped like the number 3... Eyebrows are supposed to be thin and rounded... But like I said I didn't conceal her natural brows properly so it's not that nice... And not to worry, her natural brows will still be there after washing her face... =)

3 posts in one day.... I'm feeling bored... So... End up playing with my make-up again... LOL... =) This time I just did my lips only... I didn't feel like doing my face cos I wanted to give a day off since tomorrow I have to go for class again... =) So... This is what I did...
I used pink and gold first but it doesn't really stand out so.... I re-did it...

The 2nd time I used a redder lip liner... It looks better... Looks nicer the shot is taken further away... =) Done playing... Time to find some other stuff to do... Hee =)
Our tutor wanted us to do a theme make-up yesterday and he wrote on the small white board the various themes and asked us to choose one theme each... Sky and I chose Floral theme... =) Hm... I am not really satisfied this time... But I will definitely research more and get ideas of what I can in future if I ever get the same theme again... =) So this is what I did...
Yeap... So this is what I did... I wasn't really satisfied with the end results... But I shall try even harder... Ganbatte!! =)
20th February 2009, Kenneth & Corain, Dear dear & I went to the Night Safari.... =) He was sweet... I just casually mentioned when he asked where I have always felt like going, he immediately planned and I mentioned to ask the other couple(Kenneth & Corain) along.... More people go, would be better right? More fun... Heh... It was a really enjoyable and fun day.... Thank you Dear Dear!!
Couldn't take any photos of the animals as the lighting wasn't good enough and we couldn't switch on the flash otherwise we would hurt the animals eyes... So yep... Only took photos of us before going there and after....
After "completing" the walk around and tram ride in Night Safari, we headed to Jalan Kayu to have supper!! Roti Prata!!!! After that, it was home we went... Reached home around 1 or 2 in the morning... =)
This pic is random... It's just scary that I don't have eye whites and my eyes are just black in colour like those monsters we see in movies or tv shows... That's all.. Lol... Lame I know...

Alright... So, for the answers... Hm... Sky did the "zebra" look... Did you get your guess correctly? Haha... Anyway, for the second answer, why I didn't smile for the group photos taken... Because it totally spoils the image of the "fierce" look... That's what I think...

Updates from my lesson ytd... =) Ytd's lesson was the same... Dramatic Stage Make-Up and I did leopard prints! Happiness!!! A little overtime though.. I did it in 1hr20mins... =( Still slow... But still I shall persevere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Exams are next month and I still have yet to think of what to do!!! Oh man... This is bad... Well! Here are the photos from ytd...
I thought that if she pinned her hair up, the leopard look looks better... Any opinions? Hm... I love love love it... Of course I do think I can do better... Well, shall improve myself even more... =) Oh! Scary pictures coming up..................

LOL.... Guess what is this look called... I shall post the answer in my next entry... LOL And this look is done by Sky(the girl in the above photos)... =) The more I look at these photos, the more I actually like it... =X I was still thinking what would happen if I just crossed the street and go to those pubs.. This look looks as if it could actually kill.. LOL.. Anyway, my class and I also celebrated my tutor's b'day and we took a group photo... And someone asked me why I didn't smile in those photos... The answer will also be in my next post... Heh... =D

Alright! Updates from what I did yesterday in class... I have no idea what theme I should call it.. But our class subject is Dramatic Stage Make-up! =D I'm also very happy with it but the eyeshadow colours were not luminous enough... It's also quite intriguing for me though...
I thought it looks nicer with her fringe down... But anyway, if anyone has any opinions, tag me alright? I'm open to constructive opinions. =) That colourful lash can be found at the 'Make-Up Store'. If you're looking for dramatic lashes that are cheaper, you can find them at Bugis Street as well.. =D With that, the make-up I did for her ended at the 1hour mark... Super happiness...

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Well, met up with Chantel & Kereen on Thurs... Short meet up.. It's always nice to hang out with girlfriends... =) Shopped around and walked around... I finally managed not to spend a single cent when I go out! Shall persevere!!! Haha!

As the
date sinks into me, I am getting more and more nervous. All I can think of is that
date, when I wake up, when I have nothing to occupy myself for that period of time, almost every second
. And as the
date approaches each passing week, each passing day, every passing hour, every passing minutes and seconds, I will only then feel at peace till that day is over. Stressed because I don't know what I want to do on that day yet. I am very late as to not knowing what I want to do!!! Come on, think and settle on what I want to do alrdy!!!

Ytd I went to 'Pu Tian' for dinner... It was quite enjoyable! I love their lor mee there... It's different from the lor mee that it sold in food courts.. I took photos of some of the dishes we had.. Didn't take all the dishes because I either forgot to take out my camera to take if not when I remember to take, I would have already started eating the dish and it won't be a nice picture cos most of the food would be gone.. =X So yep..

Okay... So out of 6 dishes (including dessert) I only took two... LOL And the lighting is very nice didn't make the food look nice... But anyway, we had Yu Sheng, Treasure Pot (after this I was FULL!!), Herbal Prawns, Pu Tian Lor Mee, Fish and Red Bean Soup as dessert.. =) A really good dinner... =D The Pu Tian Lor Mee is different because of the noodles(it's not the yellow main) and the soup is white not black! Haha... After dinner we part ways as the children had to go to school the next day and others had to work the next day... Although time spent is short but it's still enjoyable... =)

Yay! It's been raining recently! Oh how I love the smell of rain!!! And also hopefully those dried brown grass will turn green.. =) It's better looking at green grass rather than dried brown grass... =/ LOL ok ok... I forgot most of the "topics" I wanted to blog about... But nevermind... I'll just post pictures of what I did on Wednesday... I'm quite happy with it... And as usual, I took up too much time to do it... So yep! I'll try my best!!!
It's actually candy colour crash stage make-up... And I didn't take pictures of her opening the eyes because the lashes didn't give a nice effect... It's nicer when she looked down like the pictures shown above.. so yea... I was still asking my mum if it was a good idea to spray starch on the lace fake eyelashes to harden and then iron it to make it more... erm... uniform? or give a nicer lash effect?(sorry my explanation sucks..) Then her reaction was... "Huh? Are you sure that you can do that?" My answer.. "Don't know..." LOL And yes... it's a lace lash... I bought it from 'Make Up Store'... I don't know if 'Shu Uemura' still has it but I think if my memory serves me correctly, it's quite expensive to buy from 'Shu Uemura'... Yep..
Well, this look it took me almost 2 hours to complete when I was supposed to complete it in 1 hour... SO... Yea... I'll try my hardest best to improve my timing! Ganbatte! =D
